DESIGN & HERITAGE

01 • The Story

A new chapter in a centryies-old story.

Villa Vino began as a traditional wine press house in the heart of Hungary's Mór wine region, standing above a remarkable historic cellar more than 250 years old.

Its transformation was guided by a simple ambition: to preserve the property's historic character while creating a contemporary home defined by comfort, craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

Today, the original character remains, reinterpreted for modern living. Historic stonework, carefully selected materials and open, light-filled spaces coexist naturally, creating a home that honours its past without being confined by it.

02• THE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Personal by design.

Created by an international family with a shared appreciation for architecture, interiors and thoughtful living, Villa Vino reflects a belief that a home should be as functional as it is beautiful.

The design prioritises spaces for gathering, entertaining, working and retreating. Bespoke furniture and cabinetry were conceived around the proportions and purpose of each room, giving the residence a sense of continuity throughout.
